Dr. Sarlo attended St. Joseph University in Philadelphia as an undergraduate, and trained at Hahnemann University Hospital School of Medicine. He completed his medical education in 1991. Dr. Sarlo then completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Sarlo is Board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a fellow in the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Sarlo is also Board Certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a fellow in the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Sarlo has medical licensure in both the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Dr. Sarlo is also active in managing spasticity of various etiologies, specifically spasticity of spinal and upper motor neuron origins using a variety of tools which include BOTOX Injections and Intrathecal Baclofen.
Dr. Sarlo is available to perform acute inpatient rehabilitation management at The Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware as well as being available for outpatient electrodiagnostic procedures and outpatient consultations for the management of a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal and spinal injuries as well as other general physical medicine and rehabilitation needs at the Christiana Spine Center.
