I don’t think enough people take the time to express appreciation to others who do excellent work or provide outstanding care. I have to say that I feel moved to write to you to share my feelings of respect, admiration and appreciation for you as a professional person who truly cares about his patients.
First of all, I came to you in late December with calf pain that was definitely curtailing my ability to walk comfortably. At the time of my visit, I was getting ready to leave for several winter months in Arizona. Knowing this, you managed to squeeze me into your busy holiday schedule for an MRI and then for a spinal evaluation to determine the source of my pain.
Your correct analysis was that my calf problem was referred pain either from my spine or from my arthritic knee. Although I chose to treat my knee first to see if I had a positive result, your wife offered to come home early from your vacation to give me an epidural injection, if necessary. Your schedule was tight with the holidays, but you squeezed me in and took the time to pinpoint my problem area and inject my knee right on target before we left for Arizona.
Previously, I had numerous cortisone injections from my orthopedic doctor to no avail. In fact, those injections always left me with a 2 day headache as a side effect, and little to no relief in my leg. Your ultrasound diagnosis was spot on and for the last 3 months I have had no pain at all, either from a headache side effect, on in my calf. I can’t tell you how that improved my quality of life.
Your expertise and caring nature are unlike any I have encountered in my years of doctor’s care. Please accept my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the manner in which you care for your patients and for your expertise in your field of medicine.

Dear Dr Delport
The injection took full effect on March 20, about 12 days after my appointment. I am very grateful to you. I can sit without pain after 1 ½ years. I can drive, garden, quilt and sit upright through meals. Yesterday, I walked for 1 ½ hours, and today I plan to ride my horse.
I thank you for treating my torn hamstring tendons, and I also thank your partners at Christiana Spine for knowing that your professional training is a necessary complement their nerve and bone business, especially Nancy Kim, who sent me to you.

We have been patients at the Christiana Spine Center for over 4 years. No matter what time we walk in the office we are always greeted by the girls with a smile. They are so helpful and pleasant. We have both had several MRIs and ultrasound treatments. Again, a pleasant experience since we both struggle with the enclosed unit and needles Would not go anywhere else. I have been a patient of Dr. Tony Cucuzzella and Dr. Anton Delport for 10+ years. You couldn’t ask for a better group of physicians to care for your pain. Their course and plan of treatment has eliminated the need for surgery for my hips and knee. Their staff of nurses and technologists are highly qualified and you feel complete confidence while in their care. Their offices provide “in-house’ imaging services such as ultrasound and MRI which saves on time in making appointments with outside services. My experience is the doctor receives the information right away ant there is no waiting. Therefore, quicker response time and action. This is a fantastic practice and I have the highest trust and confidence in this practice and its’ physicians.
